Boohoo.com Review - An Independent Review For Online Fashion Store Boohoo.com

This content is an independent review of online retailer Boohoo.com, based on my own personal experience and in no way is this review endorsed by Boohoo.com. This post may contain affiliate links. Should you click on an affiliate link I may earn a small commission, at no cost to you.
Boohoo.com is one of the biggest online fast fashion retailers out there. There's no surprises in regard to the appeal with this online shopping outlet, it's massive, there's so so much to choose from for both men and women, it's a budget friendly option and they ship worldwide.
The general clothing styles available at the Boohoo online store are on trend and primarily targeted to young men and women - teens to early 20's age group. There's a huge range of trendy clothing for both guys and girls in a range of sizing options, ie tall, petite and plus size, and it's all pretty cheap in regards to price and often also in regards to quality as I've found..
I made my first purchase from boohoo.com in 2014 and made several purchases after that, and I still own and wear only one of the many pieces that I ever purchased from Boohoo. I don't shop there any more nor would I consider shopping at Boohoo again, for a few reasons..
The quality of the clothing isn't great, which isn't really surprising given the price range. All of the clothing that I purchased from Boohoo, I ended up dropping off at a second hand clothing store except for the piece pictured.
I can't recall what I paid for this piece but it wouldn't have been more than
$30 (NZD) and to be fair, it's fine for that price. But I had to tie knots in every single one of the fringe tassels to prevent fraying.
As well as not being satisfied with the general quality of the clothing from Boohoo, the other reasons that I wouldn't shop there are that I personally just don't like trendy styles, and also these type of stores aren't in line with my values in regards to clothing.
On a positive note I must admit that I was impressed with the service, this being part of the reason why I made several purchases from Boohoo.com. My orders were always correct (no mistakes in packing which is common with huge budget friendly online outlets), and shipping always free and fast.
As mentioned at the beginning of this article, I can understand the appeal with this online store, particularly to young men and women - it's cheap, easy, trendy and fast. But be aware that you will get what you pay for, the price is reflected in the quality of the item. Note that I'm certainly not implying that the quality is terrible (I've seen terrible from other online clothing stores.)
I would aim to discourage buying bulk amounts of cheap trendy clothing as the majority of it ends up getting biffed soon enough without too much thought.
